Seamless aluminum gutters are the common choice now. They are formed on site to the length of each run, so the only joints are at the corners and downspouts, which is where sectional gutters leak. On a two-story home with a large roof area, a wider six-inch gutter and larger downspouts move the heavy spring downpours this region gets far better than the five-inch size many builders install.
